deCleyre Co-op
An activist incubator, resource center, zine library, safe space, housing co-op. Founded in 1998 as a continuation of Douglass House with an intention to have something more permanent. Many of the residents were young adults, teens and students. Often referred to simply as “deCleyre” it hosted hundreds of traveling activists, student groups, and several conferences.
